Charming architect's villa of original Corsican architecture from 2006, surrounded by a beautiful garden and outside of the property over 270° surrounded by wild Corsican scrub, tastefully decorated and well equipped, with view over the sea and the Îles Cerbicales, in particular on the island of Pietricaggiosa, from which the house has its name.
The famous Plage de Palombaggia, the most beautiful beach in Corsica, with its fine, white sand and fringed by old umbrella pine trees and turquoise water, is within a 12 minute walk (which, by the way, is recommended considering the lack of parking).
On one side of the house there are four more private houses, however, without restricting the intimacy of the house or the fantastic view over the sea.
The house has two independent units (one or two air-conditioned bedrooms respectively) on one level and an independent bedroom accessible from the garden with private bathroom in the basement.
The holidaymakers benefit from two roof terraces and 5 terraces around the house.
The holiday home is therefore particularly suitable for groups of people (parents with children and grandparents, parents with adult children and their spouses, chummy couples and their children) who want to spend the holidays together and at the same time want their own individual rhythm of life to pursue, id est to have the opportunity to relax in one of the living areas or on one of the many terraces, to prepare something individually in one of the kitchens, or to reunite with the others for a meal on the main terrace or in the large living area; also the proximity to the beach is an advantage in this context, because you can always go to the beach individually whenever.
Our clients and we value most of these latitudes when we/they are vacationing together with relatives or friends.
In summary there are two living areas with open kitchen and TV, four bedrooms with beds for 2 persons and three bathrooms with shower. The windows and beds in the bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets. There is an electric plancha for outdoor barbecue.
In high season we prefer to rent the whole house with its described degrees of freedom, in low season we also rent the units individually, with or without the additional bedroom with bathroom in the basement, accessible over the garden.
Nearby is Porto-Vecchio with its old town, the marina and all shops, half an hour away is the cliff with the citadel of Bonifacio, the Golf de Spérone or the splendid forest of Ospédale with its lake, in an hour you can be within the mountains for instance at the Aiguilles de Bavella with their highly jointed cliffs, the Trou de la Bomb or the impressive cascades of Polischellu that form a chain of natural pools of crystal clear water grinded into the rocks, a true Eldorado for every amateur photographer.
